best mix tape i had (amy's creation)
i love them... best mix tape is my car sound these days and garden state plays continuously on my laptop...
although i might switch that around... add a little variety to my life... mix tape in the house, garden state in the car...
they're mellow, but not in the make-me-want-to-sleep-mellow... i just feel at ease... the last few days/last week have been really quiet... i have come home to my empty apartment, cooked dinner, done laundry, watched tv... talked to friends, gone to sleep... it's been kind of nice, in a hermit sort of way... i have a few things to do this week at night, mostly falling toward the end of my week, which i think is good...
life just seems kind of slow these days - i guess that's a good thing...

I guess it is hard sometimes when life is slow...Our summer has been somewhat like that. But, now that it is nearing the end we are looking forward to jumping into this "redefined" student ministry this fall. And, then, of course, the slow times will be hard to find.
